The art of connection

Distinct talents.
One shared vision.

An entrance, a transition, a silence: stage direction also takes shape in what connects the acts. Norbert Ferré composes these connections to give the show its rhythm and coherence.

His experience on stage informs a direction attentive to each performer’s individuality. From galas to productions of different scales, he seeks a balance between the strength of each performer and that of the whole.

The cane of The Magician

The Magician cane, crafted by Maison Pierre Vanherck

The art of detail.

Handcrafted for The Magician, this cane brings together Gabon ebony, Corian and brass. Its 248 inlays trace a pattern of spirals and curves.

This bespoke piece is also a mechanical cane: it conceals a device that triggers a pyrotechnic effect during the show. An integrated RFID chip allows the piece to be identified.

The maker

Pierre Vanherck

Based in Lillois, Belgium, Pierre Vanherck is a self-taught artisan. He creates bespoke canes combining precious woods, metals and jewellery, developing his own assembly techniques to shape distinctive pieces.
