External links and services
This website includes links to services such as Vimeo, Linktree, Wikipedia, S2A International and S2A Production. These services are operated by their respective providers and have their own terms of use and privacy information.
Personal data
For enquiries submitted through this website, the data controller is S2A International — S2A Production. Its contact details appear in the “Website publisher” section above. Norbert Ferré, artistic director of S2A, receives and handles enquiries on its behalf.
The contact form collects your name, email address, event date, city, country and message. This information is used to reply to you, discuss your project and follow up on your request. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or advertising mailing list. Fields marked with an asterisk are required; without them, the form cannot be submitted. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Requests for a quotation or booking made in your own name are processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Other professional enquiries, including those made on behalf of an organisation, and the follow-up of previous enquiries are processed on the basis of S2A’s legitimate interest in responding to requests and maintaining the context of the professional relationship (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). This does not authorise unrelated advertising.
Who receives your information
Enquiries are received by Norbert Ferré in the Gmail mailbox he uses to handle these requests and are also stored in the website’s WordPress administration through Fluent Forms. Access is limited to authorised persons who need it to handle the enquiry or administer the website, and to the technical providers involved in hosting and email delivery. The mailbox address is not displayed publicly on this website.
The form uses an invisible honeypot and a security token to help prevent automated submissions. Since 15 October 2026, IP address logging for new form entries is disabled, and Fluent Forms visitor analytics are disabled. This does not prevent the hosting provider from processing technical connection logs. Technical data used to protect and administer the website are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
How long information is kept
For enquiries that do not result in a booking, messages and contact details are kept for up to three years after the last relevant contact initiated by the person concerned. If you contact us again about a project, the three-year period starts again from that new exchange. A reminder sent by S2A alone does not restart the period.
This retention rule covers both entries stored in WordPress and copies in the mailbox. At the end of the period, the information is deleted or anonymised, unless a specific legal obligation or an ongoing dispute requires limited retention of the necessary records.
If an enquiry results in a booking, the information needed to organise and perform the engagement is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship. Records that must be retained afterwards are held separately with restricted access: commercial contracts and related correspondence are generally retained for five years; invoices and accounting records for ten years from the end of the relevant financial year. Electronic contracts with consumers for €120 or more are retained for ten years from performance of the service. Where a dispute requires longer retention, only the relevant records are kept until its final resolution and expiry of the applicable time limits. These exceptions do not extend the retention of every contact-form message.
Service providers and international transfers
Use of Gmail involves Google, and displaying embedded videos involves Vimeo. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their published safeguards include the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers and standard contractual clauses where applicable. Details and information on obtaining the relevant safeguards are available in Google’s data transfer information, Google’s privacy policy and Vimeo’s privacy policy. You may also contact S2A for information about the providers used for your enquiry.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in applicable law, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, and restriction of processing. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is automated and based on a contract, you may also exercise your right to data portability.
To exercise your rights or ask a question, use the contact form or write to the email or postal address in the “Website publisher” section, stating that your request concerns personal data on norbertferre.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Videos and your privacy choices
The main showreel and the DOUBLE showreel are hosted by Vimeo. The preview images are served from this website. Without prior consent, selecting “Watch the showreel” or “Watch DOUBLE” opens the privacy choices without contacting Vimeo. The players remain blocked until you allow “Vimeo videos” in the cookie preferences or choose “Accept & play”. With consent already saved, pressing play loads the selected video. Before that choice, these components do not request a player, thumbnail or script from Vimeo. You may choose “Decline” and continue using the rest of the website.
Accepting allows your browser to connect to Vimeo and transmit your IP address and technical information. Vimeo may process data in the United States and may use cookies for playback, security and measurement. Both players use Vimeo’s “Do Not Track” option (dnt=1), which limits tracking. According to Vimeo, essential security cookies may still be used and cookies stored during earlier visits to Vimeo may be sent by your browser.
You can withdraw your choice at any time using “Close video & withdraw consent” beneath the player. This removes the player and blocks it again; it does not erase cookies previously set by Vimeo, which can be removed in your browser settings. Your choice applies to both Vimeo videos and is saved by Complianz in first-party consent cookies for 180 days on this browser and device. The permanent Cookies button lets you change your choice or reject optional cookies at any time. Withdrawal removes both players. After a new page load, a player loads only when you press play and consent is still valid. See our Cookie Policy.
For the provider’s purposes, cookie lifetimes and rights information, see Vimeo’s privacy policy and Vimeo’s player-cookie information. Links leading to another website are subject to that service’s privacy information.
Technical logs and backup copies
The hosting provider may process connection and security logs to operate, maintain and protect the website. Backup copies are used for recovery following an incident and are not used to contact people again. Access is restricted to authorised administrators and technical providers. If a backup is restored, previously recorded deletions must be reapplied before the restored enquiry data is used.
The website’s security tools record technical events, including IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and login attempts, to detect abuse and protect the service. Security Optimizer’s activity-event log is automatically cleared after 12 days. Records used to maintain an active block are retained while that block remains in place. Hosting logs are managed separately by OVHcloud; contact S2A for information about their retention.
Automatic website backups are configured to retain seven daily database copies and two weekly file copies. Manual recovery copies are managed separately. These technical retention settings are distinct from the three-year enquiry period.
